Dr Wickramasinghe from the Buckingham Centre for Astrobiology at the University of Buckingham in England, who originally came up with the theory of panspermia (the theory that life originates from asteroids and meteors), hailed the discovery as further evidence of extraterrestrial life and has always maintained that biological materials such as bacteria and viruses are always raining down on us from the skies.
According to Dr Wickramasinghe:
“Mainstream science and institutions have fought against theories which expound these beliefs but now evidence from meteorites, from samples of bacteria from space and from space observation is making resistance more difficult. Proving that the Earth is in a constant exchange of matter with the larger cosmos would have implications not only in terms of our identity, but could also give us insight into alien viruses which may be important for our group identity, evolution and survival itself.”
Dr Wickramasinghe had already made headlines back in 2012 after discovering the world’s first official and conclusive fossilized evidence of alien life on a meteor that crashed in Sri Lanka. The evidence was confirmed by Cardiff University who verified that the evidence was native to the meteor and did not originate on Earth. However, Professor Milton Wainwright and his team from the University of Sheffield and the University of Buckingham Centre for Astrobiology, who discovered the object and who also discovered the “ghost particle” last year, warned of more sinister possibilities.
Dr Wainwright warned that wheres the metallic orb could be being used a method to ‘seed’ alien life on Earth, another theory is that it may have been released to deliberately infect the human race with life-threatening diseases.
In early 2015, it was revealed by scientists that a microscopic metal ball made of vanadium and titanium had landed on a stratospheric sampler balloon, leaving an impact crater. The metallic circular orb had landed on the balloon 27-km into the stratosphere above Cheshire, England.
According to scientists, the peculiar metal orb which seems to be spewing out gooey biological material, could contain genetic material as a precursor to life on Earth. Quite remarkably, the scientists have confirmed that this is the first time anything like this has ever been found on the planet and that they believe the discovery may be evidence of alien civilizations intentionally ‘seeding’ and propagating life on Earth, indicating that their my be alien civilizations watching the planet.
