6 examples of UFOs in Classic Paintings

Many say there are one single evidence for the Ancient Astronaut Hypothesis. But one kind find very strange depictions in the most unlikable places… like classic paintings. Lets see six of the most interesting examples in Classic Paintings.



This image is by Flemish artist Aert De Gelder and named “The Baptism of Christ”. This image was painted in 1710 and hangs in the Fitzwilliam Museum , Cambridge. A UFO-like object is shining beams of light down on John the Baptist and Jesus.



The first picture above shows a fresco titled “The Crucifixion”, and it was painted in 1350. The two objects enlarged below with figures inside can be seen in the top left and top right of the fresco. This painting is located above the altar at the Visoki Decani Monestary in Kosovo, Yugoslavia.

Located in Florence, Italy is one of the most important pieces in the Ancient Astronaut Hypotesis: a – now – famous painting called Disputa of the Eucharist by Ventura Salimbeni, an Italian Mannerist painter and printmaker and among the last representatives of a style influenced by the earlier Sienese School of Quattrocento-Renaissance. This tapestry, titled “The Magnificat”, was painted in the 14th century and depicts the life of Mary. A hat shaped object can be clearly seen in the painting. It’s located at the French basillica Notre-Dame in Beaune, Burgandy.


Carlo Crivelli (1430-1495) “The Annunciation with Saint Emidius

This painting is by Carlo Crivelli (1430-1495), and named “The Annunciation with Saint Emidius” (1486). It hangs in the National Gallery of London. A bizarre disk-shaped object can be seen shining a pencil beam of light down onto the crown of Mary’s head.



This image is sourced from the French book “Le Livre Des Bonnes Moeurs” by Jacques Legrand. While some people may say that the spherical object in the painting is a balloon, there was no such thing as balloons in France during 1338.

  1. Things like this happened whom we refer to as ‘angels’ descending upon earth and mankind. In Islam too Muhammad traveled the seven heavens in a faster than light spacecraft called ‘Buraq” to meet God called in his ‘nights journey’ from Jerusalem. There are many mentions of such phenomenas in all religion. These are today referred to as Aliens and God too for most unbelievers at best is an alien!
